Sharon Lee Thweatt, 75, passed away on January 15, 2025, at Archbold Hospital. Born on December 5, 1949, in Barwick, Georgia, Sharon was a beloved wife, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many in her community.
Sharon dedicated her professional life to the art of cosmetology, working as a hairdresser until her retirement due to health issues. She spent her career making others feel beautiful and cared for, reflecting her generous spirit and warm heart.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Gregory P. Thweatt; her loving brothers, John R. King (Dianne) and Larry King (Jamie); as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins who will forever cherish her memory. She is preceded in death by her father, John Lee "Bud" King, and stepmother, Lillian King; her mother, Phoebe Law; her stepbrother, Johnny "Bubba" King; her grandmother, Thelma Alligood; and her aunt, Helen King, and uncle, Bradford Alligood.
In accordance with her wishes, no formal service will be held. Instead, we invite family and friends to celebrate Sharon's life and cherish their fond memories of her in their hearts. She loved each and every family member and all of her friends.
