Funeral services for Shirley Andrews Platt, 69, of Thomasville will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Crossroads Fellowship Church, where she was a member. Rev. Greg Souders will officiate and internment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Platt died on March 10, 2012 in Thomasville. Born August 17, 1942 in Hazlehurst, GA, she was the daughter of the late Elton and Madelyn Wilson Andrews. On July 2, 1962 in Bradenton, FL, she married Lewis Gordon Platt, who survives. Mrs. Platt was a homemaker. Other survivors include a daughter and son in law, Renee Platt and Chuck McDonald of Thomasville and a son and daughter in law, Scott and Sarah Platt of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving are grandchildren, Dillon Clanton, Chase Clanton, Bryce Clanton, Seth Bennett, Madison McDonald, Nathan Heatherington and a brother and sister in law, Art and Jill Andrews of Sycamore, GA.
