Shirley Ann Vonier Hicks

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Vonier Hicks of Lake City, Fl will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday August 1, 2023 in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hicks passed away on July 26, 2023 at her residence. Born on October 25, 1937 in Pavo, Ga., she was the daughter of the late William D. Vonier and Hazel Hawkins Vonier. Shirley was a Christian and believed very strongly in the Lord and his teachings. She is resting now with her beloved husband, Robert. Shirley was a loving wife to Robert R. Hicks Sr (deceased) and a Wonderful mother to Robert Hicks Jr, (wife Linda,), William Hicks, (wife Jacklyn ),and Michael Hicks, (wife Meredith).Shirley is also survived by her brother David Vonier and sister Betty Weeks, Six grandchildren, Robert Hicks, William Wallner, Krystal Hicks, Joey Hicks, Laila and Daniel Hicks . Four Great Grandchildren, Kaiden and Bailey Hicks, Sofia Sosa and a baby boy on the way. Her family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00PM on Monday evening at the funeral home.
