Shirley Ann Carr

Graveside services for Shirley Ann Singletary Carr, 68 of Thomasville will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 30, 2016, Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Paul B. Hancock and Mark Harmon will officiate. Mrs. Carr passed away January 28 at her residence. Born June 4, 1947 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Robert Singletary and Helen Curtis Singletary. She is survived by her husband John Carr of Thomasville. She was a homemaker and a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. Other survivors include her sister, Beverly Singletary Harrison of Cairo; brother, Curtis Singletary and Connie of Thomasville; nieces and nephews, Deren Hooks husband Bill, Jared Singletary, Titus Singletary, and Dylan Singletary; great nieces and nephews, Dawson Singletary, Stone Singletary, Harrison Hooks, Brayton Hooks and Adeline Hooks and many good friends. She was preceded in death by daughter, Megan Carr; son, Clarke Carr and sister, Elaine Riggs. Memorials may be made to Archbold Foundation, 910 South Broad St, Thomasville, Ga 31792.
