Services for Shirley Ann Carter, 80, of Albany will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Faith Horizon Ministries at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Christopher officiating. Interment will be held at Ochlocknee City Cemetery. Mrs. Carter passed away on November 24th, 2018 in Ochlocknee. Born June 26, 1938 in Russellville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Blanche Violette. She had a passion for working, and she enjoyed her customers. Shirley loved being and spending time around people. She is survived by her children, Michael Wayne Jones (Debbie) of Beloit, WI, Carl Daniel Carter Jr. (Donna) of Ochlocknee, GA, Denaye Carter Searcy (Ronnie) of Ochlocknee, GA, Tina Carter Walden (Lamar) of Cairo, GA; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son Donald Glenn Carter, 8 brothers, and 9 sisters. Her family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Tuesday, November 27th before the service at Faith Horizon Ministries.
