Memorial services for Shirley Jean Johnston Vazquez, 51, of Thomasville, formerly of New Port Richey, Fla., are at 2 p.m., Friday, March 28, 2008, at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, where she was a member. Pastor Brent Welch will officiate. She died March 25, 2008 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born September 5, 1956, in Pompton Plains, N. J., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Rose O'Grady Johnston. She loved drawing and crocheting. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Jarrod Hinckley of Thomasville; daughter, Stacey Vazquez of Randolph, N.J.; son, Ramon Vazquez of Dover, N.J.; grandchildren, Ramon, Cheyanne, Kaiia, Libby and Lukah; brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Taylor Staples, Warren Taylor, Margaret Johnston Smith, Edward Johnston and Donna Johnston, all of Fla. and Don Johnston of N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Taylor. Memorial contributions may be made to Commercial Bank for the Shirley Vazquez fund, 101 South Crawford St., Thomasville, Ga., 31792 .
