Sidney Allen Davis recently passed away at his home in Norcross, Georgia.
Sidney (Sid) was born to Lamar and Lynette Davis April 7, 1956 in Albany, Georgia. Sid spent his youth in Thomasville, Georgia attending Thomasville High School and later graduated from Georgia Tech University with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Sid worked for Boeing Corporation in Seattle as well as other companies in the engineering industry.
Throughout his entire life Sid held an unwavering faith in God as a member of First Baptist Church, Thomasville and Peachtree Corners in Atlanta.
Sid loved his family and was predeceased by his father Lamar Davis and his brother Stan Davis.
Sid is survived by his mother Lynette Davis Crawford, his sister Fran Davis Cobb (Richard), his brother Charles Davis (Kay), his two nephews Jaan Childs and Maury Cobb (Walton) along with his very much- loved grandniece and nephew Maggie Cobb and Wil Cobb.
A celebration of life will be held later this spring.
