Sonya Carver

Graveside services for Sonya Carver, 77 of Thomasville will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 2:00PM at Fredonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ralph Fudge will officiate. Ms. Carver passed away on November 11, 2012 at Mitchell County Hospital. Born October 28, 1935 in Bono, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Alma Vaughan. She worked for Winn Dixie Grocery Store for 31 years as a cashier. Ms. Carver was a member of Fredonia Baptist Church. She loved to bake for the church and loved to play Bingo. Survivors include daughters Portia Darlene Brown and Sonya Elaine Sarver and husband John Paul all of Thomasville; grandchildren Angela Petty and husband Robert, Brian Keith Sarver and wife Crystal, John Paul Sarver, III and wife Mindy; great-grandchildren Kayla Nease, Jordan Nease, Austin Sarver, Destiny Sarver, Faith Sarver, Coco Petty-Lopez; special friends Betty Goodnight, Frances Golden, and Betty Crum. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 16, 2012, from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Guest may sign the online register at www.allenfh.com .
