Services for Sophia Letchas Shea of Tampa, Fl., are 1:00PM on Thursday, February 20, 2003 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Father Dennis Listermann will officiate and interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Shea died Feb. 16, at Town and Country Hospital in Tampa, Fl. Born August 20, 1920 in Garditsa, Greece, she was the daughter of the late George and Demitroula Gardikoutis Letchas. On July 26, 1943 in Monticello, Fl. she married John P. Shea who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Mother of God, Greek Orthodix Church in Tallahassee, Fl. Survivors include daughters, Sharon Simpson of Rogue River, OR., Jean Kloos of Tampa, FL.; son, Michael George Shea of Santa Fe, NM.; sister, Evangeline Kline of Thomasville; brother, Gus Letchas of Alpharetta, GA.; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Holy Mother of God, Greek Orthodox Church, 1645 Phillips Road, Tallahassee, Fl., 32308. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
