Stacey Suber, age 87 of Coolidge, Ga passed away on February 4, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Stacey Scerrell Suber Sr. was born on August 22, 1937, to J.D. and Lennie Murphy Suber.
In addition to his parents and brother Winston Suber, he is preceded in death by his wife Wynette Baker Suber, and his son Scerrell Suber.
He went to school in Coolidge, Ga, and graduated high school there with many close friends. He remained life-long friends with many of those high school students. After graduation, he worked at Sunnyland Packing Co. for about 50 years. Stacey also served in the National Guard.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved being on the water in his airboat! He had a special group of men that he fished with and loved to tell about their adventures. You men know who you are and were such a blessing to him! He was a huge NASCAR fan and watched as many races as he could on TV. In his early years he went to many dirt track races. He also enjoyed watching UGA football and Thomas County Central football on TV. He loved being around people and had many special friends.
He leaves behind his brothers to carry on his legacy: Jeff Suber (Delena), Zach Suber (LaDean), and Ricky Suber. Nieces and nephews Emalie Baker Jarrett (Larry), Cary Baker (Louisa), Tommy Baker, Mike Stiles (Kim), Michelle Suber, Brandon Suber, Scott Suber, Sabrina Suber, Hannah Suber, Sarah Suber, and dear friend Betty Palmer.
Everyone who loved him will cherish memories and continue telling stories of our time with him. He will always be in our hearts.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Stacey Suber will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 5-7 pm at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
