Stephen Jesse Dotson

Stephen Jesse Dotson, 74 of Coolidge passed away November 18, 2018 at his residence. Born June 29, 1944 in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Jesse General Dotson and Mayme Townsend Dotson. He was married to Judy Kay Greene Dotson, who preceded him in death. Mr. Dotson was a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked as an electrical salesman. He enjoyed working with his hands and spending time outdoors with his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his children, Patrick S. Dotson of Moultrie, Angela K. Lawlor of Indianapolis, Indiana, Melissa L. Ferry and husband Henry of Westfield, New Jersey and Cindy M. Walters and husband Evitt of Sale City; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Denver Dotson of Kernersville, North Carolina and Phillip Dotson of Boone, North Carolina and sister, Janice Kelley of California. He was also preceded in death by sister, Lovola Foltz. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 114 Mimosa Drive, Thomasville, Georgia 31792. A private memorial service will be planned for a later date.
