Stephen Hicks, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday December 5, 2023, in Camilla, GA at his residence at the age of 57. He was born on March 5, 1966 in Charleston, SC, to his loving parents Larry Weldon Hicks and Linda Faye Davis Hicks, who preceded him in death.
Despite facing personal challenges, Stephen always found solace in the simple joys of life. He had an undeniable passion for fishing, spending countless hours on the tranquil waters nurturing his connection with nature. His love for the outdoors extended beyond fishing, as he delighted in basking in the warmth of campfires and relishing the beauty of the world around him.
In the company of family and friends, Stephen reveled in evenings filled with card games and laughter. These cherished moments provided an opportunity to create lasting memories and bond with loved ones. His presence lit up the room, and his quick wit brought smiles to the faces of all who were lucky enough to share in his humor.
Stephen's memory will forever be treasured by his brother, Dwayne Hicks (Barbara), who stood by his side through thick and thin. Stephen's legacy also lives on through his sister, Jennifer Torres (Arthur). He leaves behind his nieces, Charity Teston, Tammala McMullen, Bailey Torres, and nephews, Austin Torres, Justin Torres, and Bradley Torres; great niece Bethanny Lindsay and great nephew Aiden Teston
