Stephen Murl Mowery, beloved son, husband, and brother, passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 44, in Cairo, GA. Born on May 11, 1979, in Thomasville, GA, Stephen had a passion for tinkering with small engines and enjoyed the serenity of fishing. With his skills as a Stone Mason, he dedicated himself to the construction industry.
Stephen is survived by his father, Kennith Mowery, his loving wife, Jean Mowery, and stepchildren Briana Hollingsworth and Paul Hollingsworth of Cairo, GA. He will also be dearly missed by his brother, Kennith Wayne Mowery of Cairo, and sister, Connie Marie Mowery of Colquitt, GA. Additionally, he leaves behind his aunts, Barbara Nell Mowery of Cairo, Brenda Ruehlen of Apoka, FL., and Cynthia Singletary of Cairo, and numerous nieces and nephews. Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, Cathy Ann Johns.
Stephen Murl Mowery will forever be remembered for his skills, passions, and love for his family. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
