Stephen Ell Turner

Services for Stephen Revell Turner of Thomasville will be at 2:00pm, Sunday, September 24, at Gatlin Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Don Prevatt officiating. With burial in Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood TX. Mr. Turner died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Archbold Hospital. Born November 27, 1918 in Hosford, Fl, he was the son of the late Ruben and Mary Regina Bateman Turner. He is survived by his wife Alene Johnson Turner and is preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Embrey Turner. Mr. Turner was veteran of the Army Air Corps and owner of Texas Furniture Co. in Brownwood TX. Mr. Turner graduated from Howard Payne Baptist Collage, and was a Mission Corp Service Worker and a Florida Southern Baptist Convention Deacon and a member of Gatlin Creek Baptist Church. He is also survived by daughters and sons-in-law Regina & Rick Felchner of Brownwood, TX and Rhonda & Richard Boston of McKinney TX. Sons and daughters ?in-law, Randy & Becky Turner of Ft Worth TX., and Rick & Monte Turner of San Antonio, TX., sister, Loraine Simmons of Tallahassee, Fl., and brother Ellis Turner of Dalling Park, Fl., 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Clifton Ellis Turner and brother A.J. Turner. Thank you to Gatlin Creek Baptist Church for all their love and kindness.
