Steve "Slim" Sloan

Services for Steve Gordon (Slim) Sloan, 66 of Moultrie will be held at 4 PM, Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Sloan passed away June 22, 2017 at his residence. Born June 18, 1951 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Joseph Palmer Sloan, Sr. and Loretta Chavis Butler. He was formerly employed with Hurst Boiler as a road crew welder. He is survived by daughters Kerri White and husband Ellis, Shannon Robinson and husband Adrian and Sommer Sloan all of Moultrie; grandchildren Caleb Bertsch, Sophi White, Sydney White, Marley Gay, Synclaire White, Gabe Robinson, Micah Robinson, Bella Zellars and Bray Zellars; brother John Sloan, Sr.; step-father Roy Butler of Quincy; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Palmer Sloan, Jr. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 pm, Sunday, before the service at the funeral home.
