Services for Steven "Lance" Basulto, 17, of Quitman are at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Ione Freewill Baptist Church and interment will follow in Okapilco Baptist Church Cemetery in Quitman. Lance passed away January 25, 2010 at the Childrens Hospital in Macon. Born October 17, 1992 in Thomasville, Ga., he was the son of Steven Basulto and Jennifer Basulto Cole and step-father, Rusty Cole, who survive. Other survivors include brothers, Jared Basulto and Ethan Basulto; step-sisters, Becca Cole and Madison Cole; grandparents, John D. McClung Sr., John D. McClung Jr., Angie & Michael McKnight and Elois and Ralph Bishop; uncles, David Basulto and wife Yolanda, Scott Basulto, Shane Basulto and John D. McClung III and wife, Tara. Lance was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Neil Basulto; great grandfather, Lamar Mitchell; and great grandmother, Doris McClung. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moebius Syndrome Foundation at www.moebiussyndrome.com . The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
