Sue Jackson, beloved wife, and devoted mother of Thomasville, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on June 26, 1939 in Coolidge, Georgia, Sue lived a full and vibrant life, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Sue worked as a real estate agent for 35 years working with Chubb Real Estate and REMAX Realty before retiring, where she built a reputation for her dedication and personal touch in helping families find their dream homes. Her passion for real estate was matched only by her commitment to her family and her community. A proud member of First Baptist Church, Sue found joy in nurturing her family and sharing precious moments with her loved ones.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Curtis Jackson; children Robert David Jackson (Rhonda) of Thomasville and Jill Jackson Pettus of Charleston; siblings Betty Hygema and Casey Kinert; grandchildren Robert Jacob Jackson (Kayla), Lindsey Brooke Oates, Lauren Elizabeth Pettus, Jackson Storm Pettus, Brandon Scott Kent, and Noelle Renee Mendes followed by numerous other close family members.
She is preceded in death by her siblings Bobbie Norris, Janet Holland, Margi Patterson, and Buck Price.
A service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with Howard Floyd officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
