Services for Susan Bass Hale, 55 of Rydal, GA, formally of Boston will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Boston Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Phillips will officiate and interment will follow at Boston Cemetery. Mrs. Hale passed away August 6 at her residence. Born March 31, 1958 in Valdosta, she was the daughter of Fred Bass of Boston and the late Emily Imogene Spear Bass. Mrs. Hale was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending her spare time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Some of her fondest memories were vacationing at the beach with her husband of 12 years, Curtis Hale. She was an avid animal lover who gave great care and attention to her three dogs, Bud, Blue and Sham. Susan has a special place in her heart for two of her favorite dogs, Shrek and Diamond. She was a member of Pine Log Methodist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Other survivors include her husband, Curtis Hale of Rydal; her children, Caleb Kennedy of Thomasville, Colby Brinson and wife Candice, Dylan Hale and wife Haley all of Cartersville, Danielle Tucker and husband Ryan of Taylorsville and Deedra Wade and husband Seth of Euharlee; brother, Jeff Bass and wife Debbie of Thomasville; grandchildren, Emilee Brinson, Kaylee Brinson, Carter Hale, Gabe Wade, Cadyn Wade, Sydlee Wade, Mason Tucker, Maci Tucker, Marshall Tucker and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Boston Baptist Church, P.O. Box 156, Boston, Ga 31626 The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Friday, August 9 at the funeral home.
