Susann M. Vente of Thomasville, Georgia, passed away peacefully with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the age of 103. She was born on March 5, 1921, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, to Andre and Anna Kmosena. Susann met the love of her life, Albert Vente, when he invited her to "come dance with me". Albert owned an Arthur Murray dance studio in Chicago. They married in 1948 and later moved to Miami, Florida where they raised their two children.
Devoted to her family, Susann was the heart of their home. She is survived by her son, Steve Vente (Ann) of Tampa, Florida, and her daughter, Valeree Fritzsche (Fred) of Thomasville. Her legacy includes grandchildren, Ian Fritzsche (Tiffani), Kristen Maeno (Dustin), Michael Vente (Daniel Ward), David Vente (Tessa), along with great grandchildren Lilly and Bowen Fritzsche, Haddie Maeno, and Charlie Vente Ward. She is also survived by loving nephews and nieces as well as her bonus family, Chuck and Laura Anglea, Hunter Anglea (Rebekah) and Cooper Anglea.
Affectionately known as "Boo" to many, Susann loved God, her family and helping others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family will hold a private ceremony at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
