Sylvia Stephens Coulter

Sylvia Stephens Coulter, 72 of Thomasville passed away February 24, 2017 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born November 5, 1944 in Hawkinsville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Etheridge Linton Stephens, “Lint” and Ernestine Loggins Stephens. She graduated from Jones County High School class of 1962. She enjoyed reading, gardening, antiquing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her children, Mollie Powell (Phillip) of Thomasville, Amy Algoe (Tim) of Perry, Georgia and Jeremy Coulter (Jenny) of Statesboro, Georgia; grandchildren, Maci Croker (Tyler), Stephen Coulter (Amanda), Elizabeth Coulter, Victoria Coulter, Josh Algoe, Emma Grace Algoe, Jackson Algoe, Peyton Coulter and Claire Coulter; great-grandchildren, Madison Croker and Avie Algoe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Coulter, son, Stephen Lee Coulter, and her brother, Etheridge Linton Stephens (Sonny). A visitation will be held for both Mr. and Mrs. Coulter on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 2 to 4 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
