Graveside services for Sylvia Faircloth Johnson, 70, of Thomasville are 11:00 am, Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Johnson Family Cemetery. The Rev. Sherman Hall will officiate. Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday, January 14, 2008 at Archbold Hospital. Born March 30, 1937 in Mitchell Co. she was the daughter of the late Albert Faircloth & Trudy Mock Faircloth. On December 16, 1960, at Calvary Baptist Church, she married Carl B. Johnson, who preceded her in death on March 26, 1995. Survivors include daughter, Selina Mills of Ochlocknee, sons, Carl B. Johnson, II and David Y. Johnson, both of Thomasville, brother & sister-in-law, John & Doris Faircloth of Thomasville, sister & brother-in-law, Daphne & Jack Collins of Boston, grandchildren, Trey Mills, Michael & Heather Mills, Karlie Johnson, Kelli Johnson, Kasey Johnson and friend Christine McCray of Thomasville. Memorials may be made to Barnetts Creek Baptist Church Bus Fund, 564 Stewart Rd, Thomasville, Ga 31773. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
