Sylvia Strickland Pyle

Memorial service for Sylvia Strickland Pyle, 67 of Donalsonville, formally of Thomasville, will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 2, 2015 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Pyle passed away December 30, 2014 at Archbold Hospital. Born October 10, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John B. Strickland and Lillian Higginbotham Strickland Brundrett. She was married to Virgil Raymond Pyle, Sr, who survives. She was a homemaker and she volunteered at Archbold for many years. Other survivors include her children, Brenda Bass Johnson of Camilla, Rosa Bass of Troy, Ala, Thomas William Bass of Ocala, Fl, Kitty Bass of Pensacola, Fl ; stepchildren, Dusty Pyle, Virgil Pyle, Jr both of Thomasville, Sandy Pyle of Bainbridge and Tony Lee Pyle of Thomasville; step-father, Emil Brundrett of Thomasville; sister, Rita Whitmore of Maine; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
