Tabitha “Jane” Hand passed away Feb. 10, 2019 at Rose City Health and Rehab. Born Feb. 7, 1942 to the late Dallice Johnathan Law and Jessie Davis Law in Thomasville, GA. Survivors include daughter Tracey Hand Murphy, son Jason Hand. Grandchildren Crystal Wetherington, Nick Murphy, Bradley Hand and 2 great grandchildren. Sisters Johnnie Scott (Richard) Carrollton, GA, Doris Minick, Statesboro, GA, brother David Law (Anna) Big Canoe, GA and a host of nieces and nephews. Jane retired after 32 years as an activity therapist and loving mentor to her patients at SWSH. Jane’s most treasured memories were time spent with family at family reunions and with her children and grandchildren at her camper in Eastpoint, FL enjoying the beach, fishing and seafood restaurants along the coast. Jane was predeceased by her parents, son Tony Hand, brother Dallice Law Jr. and brother-in-law Robert Minick. The family would like to thank DSBC Joy Sunday Class for all the visits, phone calls, cards, flowers and prayers throughout Jane’s extended illness. A private memorial is planned for a later date as per Jane’s wishes. Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or any charity of your choice.
