Services for Tammie Sharie Edwards Swanson, 51 of Phenix City, Ala will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 2, 2015 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Pickering will officiate and interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Spence. Mrs. Swanson passed away December 28, 2014. Born July 16, 1963 in Cairo, she was the daughter of the late Charles Lester Edwards and Dorothy Lanell Mobley Edwards. She was married to Arthur Dewayne Swanson who survives. Other survivors include her children, Elizabeth Brooks and husband Daniel of Henderson, NV and Johnny Roy Collins of Columbus; grandchildren, Landon and Makayla; sister, Benita Phillips and brother, Timmy Edwards. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Edwards. The family will receive friends 3-5 pm, Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the funeral home.
