Tammy Bozeman Beasley

February 23, 1967 — January 27, 2023

Tammy Bozeman Beasley, devoted mother and sister, passed away on, January 27, 2023 at her home in Pavo, Georgia. She was 55. Tammy was born in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, on February 23, 1967, to Tommy Bozeman and Joann Fallin Demott. She had one sister, Jennifer Bozeman Hall, whom she loved fiercely. Tammy leaves behind two amazing daughters, Brooklyn Codie Beasley and Savannah Joy Beasley, and her precious fur baby, Maggie; her mother, Joann Demott, her devoted father and bonus mother, Tommy and Shebbie Bozeman, her sister Jennifer Bozeman Hall and brother in-law Darby Hall, her nephews, Matt Sherrod, Drew Hall and Ashton Hall. She also leaves behind a group of friends and nurses, that will miss her every day until our great homecoming. Tammy graduated from Central High School in 1985 and earned a degree from Bainbridge College in computer programing. She spent over 30 years in medical billing and was well known for her leadership skills. She was also well known for her excellent cooking and her amazing sense of humor that carried her and her family through good times and bad. She worked tirelessly to create a cook book to leave to her girls so they could recreate the meals she made for them. She was the anchor that kept her family and friends grounded. She had an amazing career and an adventurous life, but it pales in comparison to her time as a mother and her relationship with our awesome God. During the time of her extended illness, Tammy became a woman of deep faith. She stated that a feeling of peace settled over her when she knew her time was short, and this was an amazing gift. She believed in God's promise of eternal life and she hosted weekly bible studies at her home with her loyal friend, Bill Sellers, leading the group in prayer and study. Tammy had many close friends who loved her and prayed over her. She inspired so many with her courage as she struggled to battle a rare disease, that had little research available, much less a cure. Her incredible bravery and unwavering faith allowed her to truly fight the good fight, and win the race. Tammy leaves her family and friends much love, warm memories and a strong testimony of her relationship with Jesus Christ. We all look forward to our reunion when we get to see her again. "God created all things for his own glory. Let all things in heaven and on Earth praise him." Memorials can be made to Bethany Hospice, 2012 E. Pinetree Blvd., Suite A, Thomasville, GA 31792; an organization that focuses on the celebration of life. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, January 30, 2023 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the graveside, before the service.
