Ted Eugene Sampson

Funeral services for Ted Eugene Sampson, 79 of Thomasville will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member. Rev. Ronnie Wills will officiate and internment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Sampson died on January 24, 2015 in Thomasville. Born in Toledo, Ohio on August 5, 1935, he was the son of the late Ray and Rose Kish Sampson. On September 26, 1970 in Miami, FL, he married Jennie Jenkins Sampson, who survives. Mr. Sampson was employed with Stickley Furniture as a store designer. He was also an antique dealer. Other survivors include 2 sons, Mark Sampson of Greenville, SC, Brian Sampson of Toledo, Ohio and a daughter Amy Sampson of Orlando, FL. Also surviving are grandchildren, Christopher Sampson, Danielle Sampson, Sarah Sampson, Andrew Sampson and a sister, Crystal Bauerschmidt of Toledo, Ohio.
