Terry Lee Alston, 71, of Thomasville, Georgia, passed away at his home on September 16, 2021 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Gainesville, Florida and lived his early life in Zephyrhills, Florida prior to departing for college in 1967. He received an MBA in Business Administration from Oklahoma Central University in 1975 and worked in the banking and finance industry for forty years. While working at First National Bank of Thomasville-Thomas County, he met the love of his life, Karen Doolittle. They were married for thirty seven years and lived in Thomasville for the remainder of his life. Terry was an avid Seminole Booster, loved all sports, country and gospel music and family. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Perry Alston and Louise Crawford Alston. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Doolittle Alston, sister, Judy Hill (Donald), Tampa, Florida, and brother, Tommy Alston (Debbie), Zephyrhills, Florida, nieces, Tiffani Hinaman (Brian) of Parrish, Florida, Britni Hill Looper (Nick), Apollo Beach, Florida, Kristen Schnabel (Cam) of Portland, Oregon, nephews, Dustin Hill (Kristen), Orlando, Florida, Evan Alston, Waygram, North Carolina, great nieces, Darby Dale, Averi Belle, Hattie Mae, Naomi, Lily Pearl, and great nephews, Dylan, Brooks and Jacob. Funeral services will be held at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Boston, Georgia, on September 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm, and internment at Little Flock Cemetery.
