Memorial services for Terry Daniel Gardner, 63, of Coolidge are at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Greg Carr will officiate. Mr. Gardner died August 26 at his residence. Born May 31, 1944, in Thomas County, he was the son of the late Homer and Valerie Sanders Gardner. On August 19, 1966 in Thomas County, he married Betty Rehberg Gardner, who survives. He was a Wholesale Grocery Salesman with Timberlake Groceries and a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Hope Gardner of Coolidge and Bryan and Lisa Gardner of Cairo; grandchildren, Lucas Gardner, Steven Highsmith and Susanna Smith; brothers, Nolan Gardner of Hahira, O?Neal Gardner of Coolidge and Jake Gardner of Shreveport, LA; sister, Jackie Nichols of Orlando, Fla; and mother-in-law, Myrle Rehberg of Coolidge. A brother, George Gardner preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Vicki Lutes, P.O. Box 1999, Thomasville, GA. 31799 or the National Kidney Foundation of GA., 2951 Flowers Road South Suite 211, Atlanta, GA. 30341-4146.
