Teru Dunlap

Services for Teru Takada Dunlap of Thomasville will be held on September 1st, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Cook will officiate the service and interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Teru passed away on August 30th, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Dunlap was born in Sendai, Japan on February 6th, 1933. She was married to the late Alton Scott Dunlap, Sr. Teru enjoyed origami, crochet, and flowers. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, and she loved her family. She is survived by her children, Amy McLendon (Ed) of Thomasville, GA, Karen Dunlap of Thomasville, GA, Sandy Stegall (John) of Thomasville, GA, Sue Dunlap of Monument, CO, Alton Scott Dunlap, Jr. of Thomasville, GA, Neil Dunlap (Shelley) of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Kimberly Marshall (Paul), Chad Parramore, Barry Stegall (Lacey), Ben Stegall (Lauren), Amanda Dunlap, Victoria Hopkins, Jason Noah Adkison; great-grandchildren, Weston “Finn” Stegall, Braylee Stegall, Jacob Stegall, Cambria Hopkins; sister-in-law, Jeanette Dunlap. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Ann Dunlap; granddaughter, Angela Adkison. The family will greet friends on Saturday, August 31st,2019 from 4-6 p.m. at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
