For many years, Mrs. Wade was blessed with wonderful friends and caregivers. Mrs. Seritha Thompson was her constant companion and Mrs. Wade's favorite person in the whole world. Ms. Sharon Lewis, who provided scrumptious meals and care was another favorite. She enjoyed her local grandchildren, Caleb and Wesley Brown, who always sent home an ample helping of grits from Jonah's for her dining delight. She really enjoyed her lunches with Albert Lilly, who took time to come dine with her, and David James who was always there to fix anything. Dr. Helen Everett was another favorite who often visited & brought yummy soup. Mrs. Wade especially appreciated visits from the Children's Youth Group, Shut-in Angel Ministry, and Prayer Shawl Ministry from First United Methodist Church. She was also fond of Hospice's Flower Angels, Marie and Dawn. Sweet Rozzie from Hospice directed all of Mrs. Wade's caregivers about the best ways to keep her comfortable. These gifts of caring and love will never be forgotten.
Mrs. Wade's family treasures every experience that she shared with us, and the values she instilled in us. Mrs. Wade, Mama, Grandma, will be sorely missed.
