Thelma Inez Clements

Graveside services for Thelma Inez Clements of Thomasville are at 10:30AM on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Main Street. A memorial services will follow at 11:00AM at First Church Of The Nazarene where she was a member. The Rev. Charles Wolf and the Rev. Allan Parker will officiate. Mrs. Clements died Sept. 27 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born October 25, 1923 in Dale Co., AL she was the daughter of the late Bascom and Vallie Layton Dowling. She was married for almost 60 years to William H. Clements who preceded her in death. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Allan Parker of Quitman, GA, son-in-law and wife, Frank and Cathy Jones of Dublin, GA; grandchildren, William Franklin Billy Jones, Jr., Melissa Faye Regan, Charles Allen Jones, Andrew Allan Parker, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Tommy Layton of Cleveland, GA, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ann and Clemen Giles of Ochlocknee, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. A daughter, Sandra Faye Jones, sisters, Gladys Covington, Edna Watson Ansley, brothers, Robert Lee Dowling, Louie Frank Dowling, Connie B. Dowling and an infant brother, preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1136 Remington Ave., Thomasville, GA 31792. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Friday at the funeral home.
