Services for Thelma "Isobel" Finney, 95, of Monticello, Fl will be held 2 pm, Sunday, January 29 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sam Pickenpaugh will officiate and interment will be in Fredonia Cemetery. Mrs. Finney passed away on Wednesday January 25, at Crosslandings Health and Rehabilitation in Monticello, Florida. She was born May 3, 1916 in Eckhart Mines, MD. Isobel's parents, Arthur and Emma Broadwater Eisentrout predeceased her. She attended God's Bible School in Cincinnati, Ohio where she met and married the love of her life, Rev. G. Charles Finney, who also predeceased her. Together they pastored churches in Greensboro, PA, Bethesda, Steubenville, Cleveland, East Palestine, Columbiana, Greentown, and Ellet, Ohio; Dover, New Jersey, New Philadelphia, Ohio, St. Petersburg, New Port Richey and Monticello, Florida for the Church of the Nazarene. They also did evangelistic work and filled the pulpit occasionally in Thomasville, GA. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Thomasville, GA and was church pianist until 2004 and was an extraordinary musician all of her life. She and her husband were the founding pastors of the Church of the Nazarene in Monticello, FL. She is the mother of Carolyn Holt Mt. Juliet, TN and Nikki Marilyn Shepherd Monticello, FL. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Erik Holt Gina-TN; Kim Constantaras Stas-TN; Scott Holt, David Brumfield Monticello and Kristi Cooksey Jessie-Tallahassee; and 9 great-grandchildren; Erin and Ricky Holt; Terry, Alex and Joshua Constantaras, Jeremy and Cecillee Holt and Caroline and Ella Cooksey. The visitation will take place at Allen and Allen Funeral Home, Thomasville, GA on Sunday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Family and friends may sign the online register at
