Graveside services for Thelmer Olan Wilson, 75, of Thomasville are 2 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Julian Griner will officiate. Mr. Wilson passed away on November 17, 2009 at his residence. Born November 1, 1934 in Thomas Co, he was the son of the late Thelmer Powell Wilson and Annie Mae Mallard Wilson. On April 22, 1961 he married Jean Zeigler Wilson, who preceded him in death on November 26, 1991. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired parts salesman for Adams International. Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Cheryl & Lee Murphy of Boston and Janet & Lee Howard of Quitman, son & daughter-in-law, Doug & Martha Jane Wilson of Thomasville; grandchildren, Rhette Murphy, Heath Murphy, Morgan Murphy, Shelby Howard, Mason Wilson and Thomas Wilson; great grandchildren, Reagen Anglin and Kyleigh Murphy; sisters, Ruth Evans of New Mexico and Kay Barfield of Idaho; brother, Clarence Wilson of Thomasville.
