Funeral services for Theo Titus Joe Reeves, 93, of Thomasville are at 4 p.m., Sunday, September 9, 2007, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lee Waller and Pastor Bobby Tidwell will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are Jack Jones, Leon Jones, Dan Jones, Ryan Reeves, Tom Jones, Allen Upton and Marvin Vinson. Honorary Pallbearers are Pete Reeves, Larry Vinson, Vince Fallin, Calvin Tidwell, Randy Wilson, Ricky Duncan, Gayle Reeves, Zeb Reeves, Randy Jones and staff of Golden Living Center. Mr. Reeves died September 6, 2007 at Golden Living Center. Born December 12, 1913, in Thomas County, where he was a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Ibera McKinney Reeves. On May 1, 1938, in Monticello, he married Katherine Tidwell Reeves, who survives. He retired in 1970 after 27 years with Ryder Trucking Lines and began a lawn care service, which he continued until 2000. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Dawson St. Baptist Church. Other survivors include a son, Ronald Reeves and wife Lyn of Cairo; daughter, Betty Jo Bullard-Waters and husband Michael of Brunswick; grandson, Tytus J. Bullard of Brunswick; granddaughter, Jodie Reeves Recoy of Tallahassee, Fla.; great-granddaughters, Calli Nicole Bullard and Savanna Jo Recoy; sister, Linda R. Jones; brother, Bob Vance Reeves; step grandchildren, Angie Kelly Green and husband Jody and Shan Kelly and wife Elizabeth; and step great-grandson, Aiden Green. Sister, Edith R. Jones and brothers, Lindsay, Kenneth and Lewis Reeves, preceded him in death.
