Services for Theodore Alligood, 100, of Coolidge are 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Coolidge Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Mike Keown will officiate. Mr. Alligood passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at his home. Born June 27, 1910 in Meigs, he was the son of the late Wallace Alligood and Fannie Rollins Alligood. He was a married to Gertrude Lightfoot Alligood who preceded him in death. He was a master Mason and a 62 year member of Thomasville lodge No. 369. He is survived by 5 daughters, Geraldine Crane and husband Don of Brevard, NC, Virginia Mitchell of Cumming, Carolyn Wildmon of Booneville, MS, Linda Smith and husband George of Carlisle, PA and Glenda Riggins of Milan; sons, Kenneth Alligood of Tallahassee and Greg Alligood and wife Cathy of Yulee, Fl; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; caregiver, Betty Anderson and good friend, Doris Smith. He was preceded in death by daughter, Iris Faye Alligood and son-in-law, Chuck Mitchell. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm, Friday, January 14, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
