Thomas Caldwell, a loving father, husband, uncle and doting grandfather, passed away on April 12, in the early morning. He was born on August 29, 1955 in Miami, FL, and raised in Palm Springs North, FL. He is admired and cherished by anyone who has met him, enriching lives with his compassion and devotion to helping his fellow man (and woman). Born to Master Sgt. Thomas J. and Cpl. Virginia L Caldwell, Thomas excelled at many things, among them being an exceptional musical talent. He had many interests, including intricate model building, and being a skilled fisherman when he had the opportunity. He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda, his sister Candance, his two children, Christopher Thomas, Jennifer Marie and her husband Jake Jarvis; grandchildren Enora and Drustan Jarvis; mother-in-law Mary A. Plotts; many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as his friends scattered across the globe. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society, 180 Big Star Dr. Thomasville, Ga as well as to the Thomas Caldwell Fund at Sun Trust Bank. Both would be greatly appreciated. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday April 21, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
