Thomas L. Hudson

Services for Thomas L. Hudson of Thomasville are at 1:00PM on Monday, January 24, 2005 at Gatlin Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Don Prevatt and the Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are the deacons of Gatlin Creek Baptist Church and members of his Sunday School class. Mr. Hudson died January 20, 2005 at the Brooks County Hospital. Born April 26, 1913 in Thomas County, GA., he was the son of the late Bascom L. and Rosa Dixon Hudson. On February 23, 1941 in Thomasville he married Mary J. Thigpen Hudson who survives. Mr. Hudson was a graduate of Thomasville High School and attended Abraham Baldwin College. He was a charter member of Gatlin Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and taught adult Sunday school. He was a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mary J. Thigpen Hudson and several nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret H. Oliver, Lucille H. Butler and Elma H. Taylor.
