The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm-2:30 pm on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Boston Church of God. Mr. Long died on December 23, 2025, at home. Born June 18, 1956, in Pavo, Georgia, he was the son of the late Harmon Long, Jr. and Ruby Nichols Long. Timothy was known for his passion for old cars, particularly his admiration for the classic 1956 Chevrolet. He harbored dreams of winning the lottery, embodying a simple man with high aspirations. In addition to his love for automobiles, he enjoyed spending his leisure time fishing, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. Survivors include his children Jackie Fielding (Mickey) of Cairo, Ashley Baker (Keith) Thomasville, Logan Daughtery (Kilian) of Pavo, and Thomas Long (Courtlen) of Boston; grandchildren Mickey Moore, Jadyn Moore, Colt Baker, Kizzy Baker, Tolen Long, and Nora-Sage Long; siblings Theresa McCorkle of Cairo and Dexter Long (Ingleise) of Pavo, and mother to his children Billie Long. He is preceded in death by his sister Debbie Lee Long and brother Wayne Morris Long.
