Timothy Victor Wilson, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on October 17, 1968, in Thomasville, Georgia, Timothy was the cherished son of Lillian Hanratty and the late Carl E. Wilson, Sr.
Timothy graduated from Thomas County Central High School. With a passion for helping others and an unwavering commitment to healthcare, Timothy pursued a career as a travel nurse, dedicating his life to providing care and comfort to those in need. Prior to his nursing career, Timothy served in the United States Navy for eight honorable years, where he proudly defended his country. His exceptional dedication and service to his patients and his nation will always be remembered.
Timothy's thirst for knowledge led him to attain a Bachelor's Degree, a testament to his intellectual curiosity and pursuit of professional growth. He was a man of strong faith and attended Evergreen Baptist Church.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Timothy cherished the simple pleasures in life. He had a private pilot license, which nurished his love for the great outdoors. He loved hiking, and enjoyed mountains most of all. Timothy possessed a keen eye for beauty, capturing countless moments through his lens as an avid photographer.
Timothy will forever be missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind his adoring son, Brady Wilson of Statenville, Ga. He also leaves behind his beloved mother, Lillian Hanratty, and stepfather Bernard Hanratty, who provided unwavering love and support throughout his life. Timothy will be fondly remembered by his sister, Robin Suber (Lester) of Moultrie, and brothers, Carl E. Wilson Jr. (Marlena) of Boston, Ga., and Robert Wilson (Stacy) of Thomasville. Additionally, he leaves behind stepdaughter Emilie Carpenter (Chason) of Hahira, Ga., and a host of nieces and nephews whose presence brought him joy and light.
A celebration of Timothy's remarkable life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place at the same location, starting at 1:00 pm, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and share their heartfelt condolences.
