Tina Lafary Strickland

Tina LaFary Strickland, 43, of Thomasville, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at her residence. Tina was born in Thomasville, Ga., on August 29, 1980, to Lila and Larry Allen LaFary. She worked at Flowers Bakery as an accounting clerk for 23 years. Tina enjoyed visiting the mountains and loved animals, most especially her dogs. She loved her family and close friends. Tina was survived by her husband of 26 years, Walter Brian Strickland; mother Lila Stanaland LaFary; brothers John McDonald of Virginia and Matt Broadway of Thomasville; grandmother Faye Stanaland of Thomasville; brother-in-law Ryan Strickland; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her father and aunt Robin Hale. Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday September 8, 2023 in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
