Tommy Gibbs

Tommy Jackson Gibbs, aged 75, passed away on July 16, 2024. He was born on June 23, 1949, in Rebecca, Georgia, to the late Harvey and Annie Gibbs. After graduating from high school, Tommy started his career with CSX Railroad, retiring as a track foreman.

Tommy never met a stranger. He enjoyed visiting with everyone. An avid golfer, he spent any free time golfing. Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha Gibbs; his sons Tim Gibbs and Tommy Gibbs (Ashley); his brother Frankie Gibbs (Trina); his grandchildren Britney Kelly, Kourtney Jarvis (Cody), Tiffani Gibbs, Hunter Gibbs, and Jack Gibbs; and great-granddaughter Kaidance Gibbs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his older brother, and his sister.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18th from 5-7 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19th at 11 am at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
