Tommy R Redding

Services for Tommy R. Redding, 86, of Pavo will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Antioch Baptist Church with interment following in church cemetery. Mr. Redding passed away May 5, 2022 at Archbold Hospital. Born February 5, 1936 in Quitman, he was the son of the late William E Redding and Essie Mae Key Redding. He was married to Jimmie Sherrod Redding, who preceded him in death. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He is survived by his children, Michael Redding and wife Sharon of Camilla, Rebecca Carlson and husband Robert of Lawrenceville and James Redding of Pavo; grandchildren, Samantha Grabowski and husband Tim, Justin Redding and wife Taffee, Branford Redding, Austin Redding Glover and wife Rachel Glover, Austin Blake Redding, Mackenzie Carlson, Jaimsey Redding and Remington Redding; great-granddaughter, Ada Glover and brother, Eddie Redding, of Pavo. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and sister, Betty Newman. The family will receive friends 2-3 pm, before the service at the church.
