Torrey Anthony "T.O" Blalock
Memorial services forTorrey Anthony "T.O." Blalock, 20, of Thomasville are at 12 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2009, at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Metcalf. A celebration of his life will be held throughout the day, Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Cherokee Lake in Thomasville. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend any and all services.
Mr. Blalock died unexpectedly Monday, July 6, 2009, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla.
He was born August 28, 1988 and resided most of his life in Thomasville and the South Florida areas.
Torrey was pursuing his lifelong dream of music, having signed a recording contract and released a CD of his own entitled T.O.-Throw Up. He had recently performed in concert in Miami, Fla. as an opening act for a well-known rap group and was featured on their newly released CD.
The tragedy of Torrey's death has meant a blessing for five unknown families as his organs were donated to help save other's lives.
Torrey will forever be imprinted in the minds of all who love him. He will be sorely missed
He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Shank Amaya of Thomasville; father, Gary Caesar of Thomasville; brother, Dustin Blalock of Thomasville; son, Jordan Michael Blalock; Jordan's mother, Francesca Divivier of Kissimmee, Fla.; maternal grandmother, Carol Shank of Thomasville; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the Thomasville, Metcalf and South Florida areas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any victims of domestic violence.
