Truman Douglas Francis

Graveside services for Truman Douglas Francis will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday February 9, 2018 in Laurel Hill Cemetery on Maryland St. with Rev. Ronnie Wills officiating. Mr. Francis passed away on Saturday February 2, 2019 at his residence. Born on February 4, 1933, he was the son of the late Allan Francis and Fairy Passauer Francis. Mr. Francis moved to Thomasville in 1978 with his wife and family where he worked as an Engineer with Industrial Boiler for many years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He was married to Norma Beaman Francis who preceded him in death in 2000. He is survived by his children Carol Myers of Thomasville, Hugh Francis and wife Cathy of Alabaster, Al, Doug Francis of Thomasville; sister Carolyn Paugh of Jacksonville Beach, Fl.; grandchildren Sara Lovette, Lara Bunting, Allan Francis, Holly McCormick, Katherine Francis; 10 great grandchildren.
