Services for Vera I. Henderson of Thomasville are 2:00PM on Saturday, November 2, 2002 at Trinity Baptist Church where she was a member. Rev. Ken Burgess and Rev. Gene Vinson will officiate with interment in Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Mrs. Henderson died October 31, 2002 at her residence. Born November 6, 1923 in Page, OK., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Dewitt & Maggie Bell Jones Matlock. She was married to the late Joseph Kermit Henderson. She retired from Coats & Clarks as a spinner. Survivors include her sisters, Betty Jo Bryant of Ft. Myers, Fl., Mary Henley of LeHigh Acres, Fl., and Grace Baker of Azalia, OR.; several nieces & nephews and special friends; friends, Marie Russell, Lelia McRory and Jane Rowland. She was preceded in death by a son Joseph Kermit Henderson, Jr. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 818 Gordon Ave., Thomasville, GA 31792 or to the charity of your choice.
