Funeral services for Verna Mae Bryant Roberts, 91 of Thomasville, will be at 11:00AM, Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplin James Guthrie will officiate and burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Roberts passed away on January 17, 2015 in Thomasville. Born March 2, 1923 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late E.C. and Prudy Barton Bryant. Mrs. Roberts enjoyed working at the hospital because she enjoyed serving and helping people. She was married to the late Isaac Roberts. Survivors include her daughter Linda Barner and son-in-law Tommy Barner; granddaughter, Hope Haltiwanger Palmer and her husband Jack Palmer; grandson, K.C. Haltiwanger, Jr.; granddaughter Ashley Barner; grandson Tommy Barner, Jr. and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death are two sisters, Eloise Hurst and Dorothy Hurst; four brothers, Silas Bryant, Donald Bryant, Carly Bryant and Johnny Bryant. A visitation will be held 10:00AM until 11:00AM before the funeral at the chapel of Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Guests may sign the online register at www.allenfh.com .
