Funeral services for Verna Duggar Palmer Kennington will be at 2:00 PM on Friday June 7 at Dawson St. United Methodist Church. Rev. Robert D. Hall will officiate and interment will be in Mispah Cemetery in Grady Co. Mrs. Kennington died on June 3 at Hospitality Care Nursing Home. The daughter of Thomas Madison and Minniie Lugenia Logue Duggar,Mrs. Kennington was born on September 4, 1904. She was married to Kelzo Palmer and later to Ralph Kennington. Both of her husbands perceded her in death. She attended Dawson St. United Methodist Church and was a member of Frances Markert Circle. She worked as a seamstress for many years at J C Pennys. Mrs. Kennington is survived by two grandchildren, Kim Palmer of New Jersey and Brian Palmer of Tallahassee, Fl. She is also survived by a nephew Thomas Edwin Duggar of Tallahassee, Fl and 4 neices, Linda D. Summerlin and Shirley Ann Dunbar, both of Tallahassee, Madra Britt of Cary, N.C. and Klenna Ann Fletcher of Ponte Vedra, Fl., and a sister-in-law, Edith Pinson of Ponte Vedra, Fl. She is also survived by several grand-neices and grand-nephews. Mrs. Kennington was preceded in death by 2 sons, Mondane Palmer and Duggar Palmer. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 on Friday at the Dawson St. United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Dawson St. United Methodist Church, 1132 N.
