Viola Claudene Mccranie Brinson

Graveside services for Viola Claudene McCranie Brinson of Thomasville, Ga. will be held at 2:00 P.M on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Westview Cemetery in Moultrie, Ga., with Rev. Rick Mann officiating. Mrs. Brinson passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in Plano, Tx. Born on January 24, 1926 in Fitzgerald, Ga., she was the daughter of the late William Claude Allen and Viola Grace Davis Allen. She was retired from Southwestern State Hospital as a LPN after 20 years of service. Mrs. Brinson was married to Willie Edward McCranie and Lester B. Brinson who both preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by brothers W.C. Allen, Albert W. Allen, David R. Allen and sister Rowema Potter. Survivors include her sons Willie Joe McCranie of Little Elm, Tx, Randall E. McCranie of Carrollton, Tx; daughter Lavenia M. Swilley of Plano, TX, grandchildren Keena McCranie and husband Donnie of Wylie, Tx, Kim Gann and husband Mark of Sasche, Tx, Scott Swilley and wife Kathy of Frisco Tx, and Monica Drew of Plano,Tx., great grandchildren Kyler, Jakob, Raina and Dylan, sister Frances Allen of Thomasville, Ga., sisters-in-laws, Kathleen Allen of Bradenton, Fl, Reba Allen of Moultrie, Ga. and Charlotte Allen of Monroe, Ga. and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brinson was of the Nazarene faith and attended the Thomasville First Church of The Nazarene. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M.
