Services for Virginia Odell Lodge, 82, of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Monday, April 15, 2013, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Milford Stanley will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Lodge died April 13, 2013 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born January 17, 1931 in Whigham, GA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Merritt and Margie Willis. She was married to John L. Lodge, Sr., who survives. Mrs. Lodge was a member of New Shiloh Baptist Church and was a bookkeeper for Sinkola Farms. She was a member of the WMU and Thomasville Garden Club. Other survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne Lodge Moore and Stephen of Snellville, GA, son and daughter-in-law, John L. Lodge, Jr. and Kay of Thomasville, grandchildren, Brooke Eberhart, C. J. Eberhart, Ashley Fulghum, Adam Fulghum, Amanda Fulghum and Andrew Fulghum, nine great grandchildren, sister, Myrlene Thompson of Thomasville, step-sister, Charlene Lawhorne of Pelham and step-brother, Alvin Willis of Thomasville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 -2:00PM on Monday before the service at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
