Virginia Lou Glover Strickland, 75, of Thomasville Ga, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Victory Baptist church on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Visitation at 10:00 am and Funeral at 11:00 am with Reverend Gary Holland officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Big Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clinton McElhaney, Eric Crittenden, David Roberson, Dean Baxter, Dwight Leek, Joe Day. Honorary Pallbearer, Ryne Mimbs. Virginia was born September 16, 1946, in Georgia to the late Marvin and Levenia Glover. She married Ronnie Strickland of Florida for 57 years. She is survived by; her husband, Ronnie, sons, Ricky Strickland (Sherry), Jay Strickland (Regina), Keith Strickland (fiancée, Kristy) and daughter Brandy McElhaney (Clinton). Grandchildren, Haley Mimbs (Ryne), Michael Strickland, Lauren Strickland, Cody Strickland (Debbie), Devin McElhaney, Vanessia McElhaney, Savanah McElhaney, Calia McElhaney. Great grandchildren, Natalie Strickland, Aiden James Mimbs, Aiden Roscoe Strickland & Amelia Mimbs and siblings, Elwood Glover (Janis), Brenda Green (Ted) & Nancy Spivey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; two brothers, Joe Glover and Charles Glover.
